Super soft and pretty hand-woven sunshine yellow, coral, pink, lilac, and tomato red scarf with beautiful drape and touches of sparkle. Hand-loomed in a lightweight mesh sttructure called leno lace. Striped design. Corded fringe.

Reminiscent of sunshine and summer tomatoes, It's a good weight for office wear, a beautiful accessory for a sleeveless dress or a jacket or coat. Makes a thoughtful and unique hand-crafted gift for the woman in your life. Or yourself.

Leno lace (also called doop lace) is made by twisting the vertical warp threads around the horizontal weft threads creating an open mesh-like fabric. In this scarf, the warp yarns are cotton and the weft is a lovely mohair blend created in Italy for Trendsetter yarns.

I was excited and happy to find this small trove of beautiful soft and sparkly yarns that I could combine with my stash of mercerized cotton to make these floaty shimmery luxuriously soft scarves.
